Silicone looks and feels more natural, but previous incarnations of the silicon implant have proved to be unsafe. Saline implants are more common now and considered safe. Saline implants contain sterile salt water, while silicone is a synthetic plastic substance made of silicon, oxygen, carbon and hydrogen.
i have silicone, my mama has saline. my girls are 10weeks old, hers are almost 15 years and mine are still softer.
difference is whats inside; both have the same outside silicone covering.
if a saline implant breaks, you will know it cuz your boob deflates.
if a silicone implant breaks, you wont know it unless you get an MRI. the new silicone implants are semi-solid, NOTHING will leak out; thats why they are called cohesive gel. so, if you choose silicone, you have to get (and pay out of pocke for) MRI of your boobs every 2-3 years to be sure they arent broken.
silicone are 500-1000$ more.
As long as they are not too big for your natural breast size, then you should be fine. Because the more natural breast fat you have, the more it will cover the implant to look and feel more natural. So, I say just choose the safest and best size for you.

Saline tends to leave breasts feeling hard, while silicon is a lot softer and makes breasts look more natural. Saline is usually cheaper, though.
